  1. My grandmother remembers about seventy years ago. There was a school in Flaskagh The school master name was Mr Lyons In olden days the schools were made of stones.
The children had to bring a bit of straw to thatch the school The second teachers name was Miss Murphy. My grandmother went to school to Flaskagh. There were sixty four scholars in Flaskagh school All the old schools are knocked down. They were not as good as the school we have now Mr Lyons lived in Carnaseer and Miss Murphy lived in Dunmer.
