    One day when my mother and her Uncle were coming from Tuam with a horse and trap.

    They pulled the horse in at some bushes as they saw a flash of lightening. The horse jumped and tried to go. They looked inside the ditch and saw it had killed a cow and make a deep hole in the ground.
