  1. This is realy a village. The houses were very close together. On this memorable night a pig was tied at the back door, a donkey at the front door and two cows at the gable-end of the house, when it was knocked.
    Lukily the gable fell out and the cows began to low, the donkey to bray, and the pig to screech.
    The Keanes untied the animals and next day when the wind abated, another house - ten yards away was knocked and an old man & woman was killed.
