  1. I heard of a man who walked to Galway and bought a farm of land now called Gortaleam walked home from Galway again to Lissyconer before his wife and family were up. He took some stock from Lissyconer before his wife and family were up. He knocked at the door and woke them up. He showed them the stock. All this was done in one day. He walked to and from Ballindine and cut a half acre of hay after coming home. His name is Thimath Rabbitte, Gortaleam Dunmore.
