  1. Bocksi was very common and is yet in some parts of this district. The best kind is made from the black potato. Raw potatoes are peeled and scraped with a specially made tin scraper into pulp. The pulp is then put into a piece of linen and squeezed as dry as possible. It is then mixed with flour
