  1. This is a story which my mother told me about the candles the people had long ago. They were not like the candles we have now. They were made from rushes and tallow. They got the rushes in the bogs. They took the outside of the rush and they dipped the remainder into tallow.
    They left them in the tallow for a while because they light much better
