  1. There is a house near Barrowkeel school in the parish of Dunmore belonging to man named Burke. There is a man living there and before his mother died she told him she would haunt him. After she died, she came in the form of a dog and passed through the house making great noise. He could not sleep any night with the terrible noise outside.
    At last, he had to bring a missioner from Tuam where a mission was going on at the time. He blessed the house and the dog was seen no more.
