Once upon a time there was a man and he heard the people talking to each other about a feathered bed, that it was very comfortable. But he never slept on one of them before . . .

Once upon a time there was a man and he heard the people talking to each other about a feathered bed, that it was very comfortable. But he never slept on one of them before. One day he found a feather on the road.
I have a feather now he said and I will sleep on it tonight. That night he slept on the floor and and the feather under him. In the morning when he awoke he was all sore from the hard floor. And he said God help the poor people that has hundreds of feathers under them every night.
