  1. In the district where the Ganty school is situated there are two grave yards. Their names are Kilconieron and Lickerrig. They are almost in a straight line with each other though not on the same road or the same townland.
    The Kilconieron graveyard is situated in the townland of Kilconieron, parish of Carrowbane, and barony of Dunkelly. The Catholic Church of Kilconieron or "Kille" , as it is called locally, is beside this graveyard which is on the left side of the public road which runs from Garracloone to the main road which leads to the town of Athenry on the north and Loughrea on the south-east.
