  1. There is a place in the school district called "Baile Dorcha" where there is what is supposed to be a Fairy Fort; it is in a field. The owner of the land where is the is, is Mrs Kennedy of Ganty. The place is about two fields on the on the south side of the road that leads from Craughwell to Dunsandle. In this fort there are three stones, two of them are standing up straight and the other is lying flat on the ground between the two. The two that are standing straight are about a foo and a half high and a foot wide, and the one lying flat on the ground is about three feet long and a foot wide. In this there are letters which cannot be read. Around these there is a low wall of stones, and white and blackthorn bushes which almost hide the stones from view. There is now no entrance, the bushes having covered it over. Fairies were supposed to live in it, but no stories about them are now available.
