  1. Local prayers.
O'. then to Jesus you my mother turn,
By the most tender names comfort those souls,
The poor holy souls that burn in unquenchable flames.
As I lie down in my right hand side,
I pray to God to be my guide.
There are four corners on my bed.
There are four angel over spread.
    Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John,
I hope they bless the bed that I lay on.
O'. good angel do me defend
and bring me to a happy end.
