  2. A foxe's tongue is used for taking out thorns from the flesh. If the tongue is left on the thorn for a night is will be drawn out in the morning. A leaf of an Ash tree is good for curing cuts or drops. If you put the leaf with the sore in the night all the matter will be drawn out in the morning.
    A man riding on a white could cure the whooping cough.
    If a person had a wart he could cure it by getting a "Tráinín" and leaving it on the wart. According as the "Tráinín" gets rotten the wart gets rotten.
    The milk of a dandeline is good for curing warts also by rubbing it of them.
    The powder of a match is good for curing
