The king and his court loved hunting in the woods. The people in the olden times were skilled at hunting. The boar's home was a hole in the ground. The boar was very wise and when he dug the hole he covered it with grass so that it was unseen to the eyes of man.
The fox was a clever fellow also and the hunters loved hunting him because he could run a great distance and he used all his tricks to outwit the horsmen. His food was a chiken or a hen that he stole during the night on some poor person.
