  1. 3. One time there was a religious procession passing through the streets of Ballinasloe. An aristocrat named Bell (he has relatives still in the town) was driving through the streets. He tried to ride his horse through the procession. Then Fr. Costelloe ordered them to stand and they did so until all was over and he returned to release them.
