  1. Local Cures
    There was a lot of cures in olden times that are not used now. Some of them were very good. Here are some of them one is to rub a slug on a sty on eye and in three days it would be cured.
    Another was if your nose was bleeding to tie a piece of string on your little finger and put something cold to the back of your head and it would stop bleeding.
