    A great deal of accidents have occured during the past 40 years, such as people getting knocked down by motor cards and some getting drowned.
    This drowning happened 40 years go when a priest came to this town to collect for some holy charity. On a Thursday night he went out on his rounds to collect and he was seen no more until he was found next morning in the basin of the canal.
