  1. The patron Saint of Cappatagle is St Michael. He is patron of the church. There is no stories about it. There was no monastry around this place or no miracles worked. There is high mass said on the 29th September every year on St Michaels day. it is not a holiday of obligation but all the people around the place attend mass. There is a statue of St Michael in Cappatagle church.
