  1. Our churn is a barrel churn and it is built on an iron stand. It is a low churn. It is fifteen inches at the top and bottom. It's sides are round. It holds ten gallons and it is about twenty years old. It is a daisy churn manufactured by Beatty Brothers. We churn twice a week and it is my mother that churns. If strangers come in they help at the churning for fear they would bring the butter. Our churn is worked by the hand and foot.
