  1. I was told of a pot of gold that was hidden in Creevagh graveyard. It is said that a man from Toher was one night walking along the road when a voice came to him. The voice told him to go to Creevagh graveyard before the sun would rise in the morning. The voice told him that there was a hawthorn bush opposite the old Chapel door. There was no dew on the grass on the spot under the bush where the gold is. There are two white rats minding the gold and no one could get it. There was a certain time that the rats would be gone and the man had to be there while the rats were gone or he could not get the gold. The man was not supposed to tell anybody or he could not get the gold. When he went home
