  1. There is a well in the village called The "Pull Well" It is said that that the bean Sidhe used to wash sheets there long ago.
    There was no clocks long ago and One night Martin King lived in Clogherboy came to Stephen King in Gurrane-coyle for the loan of a horse he thought that it was later and it was only one oclock at and the Bean Sidhe was washing there at the well she threw a sheet across to him but he did not catch it or it was said if he did that she would pull him in and drowned him.
