    They used not to wrote them but say them to vex each other
    They were able to read and write and were always composing poem about each other and the people of the place.
    Althought they composed a number of stories about the people of the place they still liked them very much because they were very jolly.
    They had great respect for them. Before they used to start composing they used to make tea in a kettle and drink it and the old woman used to have an oaten meal cake on a griddle for every night.
    They used to kill rats. This night a rat ran out of a hole in the house and they kill him and went into the next house and threw him down the chimney
