Ireland. Finbarr, one of their chieftains, obtained the sidh or site of Meadh, wihin five miles of Tuam. This Knock Meadha is known as Finnbarr's hill to the peasantry of Connaught, or the hill of the Galway and May fairies (Prechristian Ireland). From this and the other references it will be seen that the only hill near Tuam is an historic mound and that it looks down on the plain as was said of the Pyramids with the history of many thousand years enshrouded in mystic glory around it.
