  1. In the month of July 1868 the flood was very large in Michael Fitzpatrick's field, Cluide Corrandulla, CO. Galway. Patrick Cunningham and Martin Noones Bunantober, Corrandulla, Co. Galway went out swimming.
    Martin Noone was a noted swimmer and when he was a while out he told the others to go out too. They went out ans soon Michael Cunningham began to sink. Marktin Noone tried to save him but they were both drowned.
