    About thirty years ago Mickeal Cavanagh, Ballybeg was able to thatch a house in two days. He is alive still and he is about sixty-seven years of age.
    Mickael Moran, Creggduff, John Moran, Thumnahulla, James Greaney, Bunnatubber, were able to thatch a house in four days.
    Mickael Moran, John Moran, James Greaney, and Patrick Winne are alive still and they are about seventy years of age.
    John Burke is dead for the past forty years and he lived to the age of eighty years.
    Creggduff and Thumnahulla are about six miles from Tuam and eight miles from Galway.
    Bunnatubber is about ten miles from Galway, eight miles from Tuam, and five miles from Headford.
    Corrandulla is about six miles from Galway.
