    This is how the people made candles long ago. First they got an article like a small boat called grisset. Into this they put lard or tallow. Then they put lard or tallow. Then they got a piece of cloth one yard long and one inch wide. They twisted it until it became very thin. That was called a páideóg When the tallow was melted
