  1. Long ago a strange wee woman came into a house in Corradoog [2 mls S of Killygordon]. She says to the woman of the house
    "I see your wee "eireog" laid today".
    "She did just" says the woman of the house going over to the dresser to give the "eireog's" egg to the strange woman. When she turned round again the woman had disappeared.
    When the woman came in first she said that the "revenue" were coming but not to worry that they wouldn't come near the still house that day.
