  1. One night there were some women going up from Corradooey [3 mls S of Killygordon] to Carn to "rake". When they were coming back they saw a woman sitting beside a fire on the side of the road. She had a white dress on her with black spots. They were all too scared to speak and they ran away. There was no material there for a fire.
