  1. Long ago when stilling was most people's trade there lived in Camata an old man.
    Every evening he used to still. When he would be finished he would leave some poteen in a hole in a rock for the fairies when he would return next evening the poteen would be gone.
    He always made a habit of giving the fairies a share of his portion. This he thought brought him good luck.
    One evening however he forgot all about the fairies and kept all to himself. Next morning he arose but found he was unable to do his work.
    He wondered what could be the cause of his trouble. At last he remembered about the fairies and made up his mind to leave some that evening. He did so but accidentally he forgot to do so another evening and was caught by the guards. He never again got the chance to give the fairies supply.
