  2. Many years ago there lived a man in Drung named Patrick McLaughlin who lived alone. One day he took very ill and the priest was sent for. The priest came and while he was in the room the man heard a great noise in the kitchen. He asked the priest what it was and the priest told him that some of his friends in the kitchen were arguing which of them would get his cows. When the man heard this he said if I thought I could get grass for them where I am going they would never enjoy a hair of their tail. This story is told by Kathleen Porter who is dead 10 year and was 70 years when she died.
