One night as a priest was on a sick call in the parish of Culdaff he met three children coming towards him - two of them had lights on their hands, but the other had not. When the priest came alongside the children he asked why had one of them no light. It cried out it was not baptized so the priest baptized the child and a light came also from its hand. The priest asked them where were they going and they said we are going to meet our mother (that the priest was going to attend). The priest said it is ? I was not here. So the priest went and attended their mother and she died a happy death.
