In a house down in Camara a very celebrated man named Darcy McGee stopped for three nights.
The house in which he stopped in is about three miles from Gleneely school. He was an old Finian who was trying to free Ireland. The English were looking for him and he dressed up as a priest, left Dublin, came up through the north and he came up through Gleneely and down to Camara. No one knew he was there until he was gone.
He went to Culdaff and got on a boat, which took him out to a steamer which was awaiting him in the Bay.
    He then went to Canada.
When he went to Canada he turned more or less to the English side.
