  1. The months for sowing celery are April and the beginning of May and the plants are transplanted at the end of May and about three weeks after they are planted out again in trenches.
    Early potatoes are planted before St. Patrick's Day, 17th of March. Late potatoes are planted at the end of April.
    The months for sowing turnips and marigolds are April and May and they are thinned in June.
