- This is a lovely indoor game for a winter night. One player hides and the others have to search for her everywhere. When she is found she plays a forfeit.
Sometimes a button is hidden and whoever finds it hides it again and so the game goes on.

- Any number of children can play this game. Whoever "has" the tig begins to chase the others. If some players runs between the "chaser" and the one who is being chased, the player who ran across is chased in turn, so everyone gets a chance of being chased until someone is caught.Eithne Quigley
