  1. On the Dublin road at Donnycarney Bridge a crock of gold was buried years ago. A Farmer bought the ground and put horses in to plough. He did not know such was forbidden and he started to plough. He got on all right until he came to within one or two yards of the crock. The moment the horses put their feet on the place they stuck in the ground and could not move. They had to be unharnesed. They were trembling terribly. No one ever tried to plough
