  1. There are many days in the year that are said to be lucky and many unlucky. For instance the Whit Holidays are supposed to be unlucky. The are called the "Cross Days" of the year. Some people do not go out of doors on Whit Monday as they are afraid of an accident happening or that they might hear some bad news. Some say that anything born at Whitsuntide is unlucky and people try to get rid of it.That refer to animals.It is also said that people born at Whitsuntide
