  1. One of the birds I am going to write about is the robin. She lays five eggs which are white and have brown spots. Her nest is made of moss and hair. I found a robins nest this year in a very unusual place for such. She built it in an old paint-can which I threw out some months before.
    The cuckoo is another strange bird as she makes no nest of her own, but lays her egg in a tit-larks nest. When the young
