    Castleknock College
    St Vincent's College Castleknock which celebrated its centenery about five years ago was originally a Protestant school controlled and owned by Dr. Wynne.
    It came upon the market and the building then a small one was purchased by two vincential priests named Dean Dolly and Fr. McCann who were its first directors. Fr. McCann was a Navan man and some of his relatives are prominent business and sports men. They are there up to the present. The McCann family formly owned a big Bacon Curing Factory in Navan. The sale caused a great sensation among the rich Protestant inhabitants of the district.
