- There is a place in Clonsilla which we call The Hill and long ago two men were killed on it. One man fell of his bike on a Hallow eve night going home from work and the other man was killed off a cart at the same place. Every night about 12 o'clock ever since something like a man with a trench coat is seen there. A woman was passing by quite lately and she got a pinch in the arm which made her arm black.
- If there is a lot of crows in the air it is the sign of a storm and if there is a black cloud in the sky it is the sign of rain. If there is a fog out at night the next day will be a hot day. If your corn is paining you it is the sign of rain
If you ever hear a blackbird cackling someone in the house is going to die.- Collector
