  1. A wake long ago.
Long ago I was told that my grandma went to a wake.
I was an old friend that was dead and all the neighbours went in.
Things were not as quite as we know them now.
They were making teas in one room, and playing cards and games in the room the corpse was in.
One woman asked "what was such an uproar made for and they answered To keep the people of the house from freting.
As soon as the tea was over they all shouted out, All in for a game of "spin the bottle. There is not one in the house can't play that.
So they all joined in and they and my grandma had a great night of sport.
It last all night, but my grandma left at five o'clock.
