    The lands of Tyrrelstown

    The Night Field
    The Night Field is so called because long ago on the Winter nights when the men would be driving their cows to the market they used to leave them in the field until the day would break. It so received its name "The Night Field."
    The Well Field
    It is so called because the field is beside the Lady Well. In this field the Clump in Tyrrellstown is situated.
    The Pump Park
    It is so called because long ago there was a pump in that field and the pump was taken up and the waters sprung up.
    The Crab Field
    This field is co called because there are many crab trees growing around it.
    The green
    The green is so called
