About 60 years ago there lived a curate in Donabate named Rev Father O'Neill. This priest was a thrifty, mean, odd, old man, and was known as a miserly priest. One day this priest ordered a sack of potatoes from a man in the Burrow. When the man was bringing the potatoes up to the priest, he brought an extra bag for him as a present. When the man arrived at the priest's house he told the priest he had an extra bag for him as a present. When the priest heard this, he said to the man, give me the bag of potatoes you are giving me for nothing and bring home the other sack so the man brought home the other sack and gave the other to the
