  1. Care of the Feet
    In every part of Ireland in former times people did not wear foot wear until manhood or womanhood.You will seldom a boy wearing boots here in summer.
    The water used for washing feet is thrown out. Boots are made locally but most people prefer to buy them in the city. There are three shoemakers here but there were more in former times.
    Leather or clogs were never made locally. Clogs were bought in the city. They have thick wooden soles
