  1. The Potato crop
    We have no farm only a little garden at the back of our house.
    In that garden my father plants various crops such as potatoes.
    My father generally puts the potatoes in drills but the first year he dug the garden he puts them in ridges.
    When preparing the soil he digs it with a spade as it is too small to plough.
    When my father makes ridges he marks out a space and manures that the space then he puts the potatoes in and covers them with earth.
