  1. The following are some of the signs of rain in Loughshinny district. When the sky is covered with dark, muddy clouds it is a sign of rain. When the hill of Howth is hidden in a mist it a sign that rain is near. When there is a cap of cloud on Lambay Island it is a sign of rain.
    If the sea is rough it is a sign of a storm or very bad weather on the sea.
