  1. There are three forges in Rush. Two of these are in use and one is not. The two in use are belonging to Mr. Langan's. They are cousins. Their fathers and grandfathers were smiths also.
    The disused one is situated at the Cross Roads. It was belonging to a Langan who was another first cousin. One of the others is in the main street while the other is at the end of the Channel Road near the sea.
    The smith on the Channel Road uses a big bellows like the ordinary one.
    Outside the door there is a big round stone on which he shapes the wheel. There is an old
