  1. Every year my father sows about three acres of his land with potatoes. Sometimes my brother ploughs the land or sometimes we get a tractor to plough it.
    The potatoes are sown in drills. In order to make the drills they first plough and harrow the land. Then they raise it into drills with a plough. Wooden ploughs are not used now but they used to be.
    In the small sand fields spades are used. These are brought in the local shops. The potatoes are cut in small pieces each having an
