  1. There were not as many roads in olden times as there are nowadays. The principal roads now are the Whitestow road which leads to Dublin and the Skerries road which leads to Skerries. There is a road named the Channel Road which starts at Martin's and ends at Rogerstown. Another road is called the Old Road and branches off the main road for about a mile and then joins the main road again. Another road is called the Spout Road and runs between the Channel Road and the Whitestown Road.
