    Local Poets.
    Skerries, Co. Dublin.
    Many years ago in the district of the Hills, Ballbriggan there lived a man called Sonny Byrne. He has a natural gift of poetry. Some lits of his poetry I have been able to collect are:-
    "Nanny Byrne who makes the hay,
    And milks the cows three times a day,
    And later herds them on the moat
    And then comes home to milk the goat."
    Another is about a Rush man who used to gather woar on Shennick Island.
