    The potato crop needs a great lot of care or they will wither. They are either set in drills or in ridges. They are very seldom set in ridges because they are more troublesome than the drills. There used to be a lot of kinds of potatoes such as the :- Champion Kemp Flounder, Skerry Blue, uptodate, shamrock, Aran-Banner, Queen, and the Epicure but there are only two kinds left now, the
