  1. Once upon a time there lived a Gobán Saor and there was no man in the world as stupid as him. He was always looking for work, and he could not get any. He fell asleep one day as he was coming home from town. Fairies came and sharpened his tools while he was (a) asleep. When he went home his wife asked him did he get work and he said he did'nt. After a few days he went to a place where a house was being built, and he asked the master for work. The master told him to

    The man got angry at this and he said "I wish one of the sausages stuck to your nose. Immeaditely one of the sausages hopped from the pan and stuck to her nose. The poor woman ran wild around the house and she was almost out of her wits. Then the man got sorry and he said "I wish we were as before. The sausages jumped from the woman's nose. They they were happy ever afterwards.
